Son of Spanish refugees militants of the CNT, Mario Ines Torres was linked to anti-Franco activities of Task Forces Revolutionary Internationalist (GARI) in the 1970s. Arrested in Toulouse in 1974, he was interned for thirty two months and withdrew into himself, experiencing great difficulty in communicating. Released on bail in May 1977 he returned to the region of Toulouse, where he rode a horse breeding. He never ceased from that moment to be subject to constant police harassment (searches, custody, threats, etc.).. In early September 1977, when he had to go to the police point with two of his co-defendants, Michael Camilleri and Jean Marc Rouillan, and while the three young men were sitting on the terrace of a cafe, police officers car went up to them and shot them blank. Mario Ines Torres shocked soon ceased altogether to speak.
