AQIM's video "Morocco: Kingdom of Corruption and Despotism" released 09/11/13

On September 11, 2013 Abdelmalek Droukdel (aka Abou Moussaab Abdelouadoud) was seen and heard in a video release of "Morocco: Kingdom of Corruption and Despotism".  The 41 minute video ends with a voiceover calling for jihad in Morocco: "Young people of Morocco, rise up and participate in jihad (holy struggle) with your brothers, until sharia (Islamic law) prevails in all the regions of Morocco." The release of the AQIM video coincided with the release of an audio recording by Ayman al-Zawahiri, which also included incitement against Morocco.Morocco: Kingdom of Corruption and DespotismAQIM Ineffective in MoroccoThough the release received front-page coverage in Moroccan media outlets, the rest of Africa as well as the rest of the world barely took notice.
