IntroductionRevolutionary Iran seeks regional primacy in the Near East. Iran’s Shi’a government, frequently through Hezbollah, has systematically engaged the regions Sunni radicals to further its ascendancy. Tehran provided limited logistical, financial and training support to these Sunni militants insofar as Sunni radical operations corresponded to Iran’s national interests.
