Overreaction Leads to Further RadicalizationThe Government’s response will probably involve both domestic security force operations in suspected al Shabaab areas in Kenya (most likely in Nairobi, the Coast and North Eastern regions) and military operations against Al-Shabaab targets within Somalia.[1] Security force operations within Kenya contain a high risk of radicalization.
