Telegram Updates to 7.0
On 01 January 2018, Telegram rolled out one of its sure to be many updates for 2018.
In the New in version 0.7:
- Added support for pinned messages in supergroups and channels
- Added support for saved messages
- Added admin badges in supergroups
- Improved search for chats
- Improved filter for chat history: added audio files, links and mentions.
- Improved search for messages: click on the date of a message from the search results to jump to the right place in the conversation.
- Supported clearing the message history in private supergroups
- Supported unread status for video messages
- [Chrome] Improved PUSH handling
- [Safari] It is now possible to record voice messages
- [Safari] Improved downloads (files now have names and download automatically)
TRAC COMMENT:
Notice the specific support for administration of groups and "Super Groups".
The improved search feature is already being implemented by TRAC and is notably better at finding relevant, reliable material.
