Golden Dawn (Chrysi Avyi) was the largest extreme-rightist organization in Greece. It ceased to exist as the separate organization in December 2005, having merged into the Patriotic Alliance (Patriotiki Symmahia). In January 2007, the Patriotic Alliance ceased to exist and in March same year, Golden Dawn announced its re-activation.
