Jundul Hafsa is a faction of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), the largest and best organized terrorist group in Pakistan. In the murders committed in the Himalayas, the gunmen were wearing uniforms used by the Gilgit Scouts, a paramilitary police force that patrols the area.
