The Popular Front for Recovery was a militia from Chad that destabilized northern Central African Republic from 2008 to 2012. Abdel Kader Baba-Laddé, the leader of the Popular Front for Recovery, surrendered in September 2012 and returned to Chad to make peace with the government. A committee supported by the UN and the multinational force in CAR was formed to oversee the repatriation of Chadians to the CAR. Authorities began repatriating Popular Front for Recovery (FPR) rebels to Chad in October 2012.
