The Cyber Caliphate is associated with the Islamic State (IS) as the group's hacking collective that will launch cyber hacking attacks against institutions viewed as opposing the IS or representing opposing values and political ideologies. There is no evidence to suggest that ISIS has officially established the Cyber Caliphate, though it seems that, like the public, ISIS supporters have adopted this group as an official structure without question.
