The appearance on 30 July of many large banners across public roadways in San Luis Potosi represent the latest skirmish in the turf war between Jalisco Nueva Generacion Cartel (CJNG) and many of the long standing cartels throughout Mexico, including the Cartel de Los Alemanes. 

Back on 14 June 2020, the Jalisco Nueva Generacion Cartel (CJNG), released videos accusing the Ministerial Police Commander of "selling" the plaza to other cartels, to include the Cartel de Los Alemanes (CDA). In a fight for territorial dominance, they release more videos including one of the group opening fire in n open field against Cartels Unidos in Michoacan and two others as a show of power to government authority and the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel.

It is likely that the distribution of banners throughout San Luis Petosi (SLP) by the Cartel de los Alemanes (CDA) is in response to the June 2020 accusations against the Ministerial Police and the implied relationship they have with the cartels, including the CDA. At least six organized crime groups operate in the state of San Luis Potosí, including the Gulf Cartel, Los Zetas, the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion, the Northeast Cartel, the San Luis Potosí New Generation Cartel and Los Talibanes.

On 30 July 2020, banners were placed at different points, mainly pedestrian bridges and main squares in the municipalities of Villa de Arista and Moctezuma, in the interior circuit, on the pedestrian bridge in front of Citadela de Soledad on Highway 57 and Rioverde. Other banners were found on the Rocha Cordero and Carretera a Matehuala boulevards on the Carretera a Rioverde pedestrian bridge, in front of the UPA.

The message on the banners was directed at "all the ministries that support Jalisco" and made it clear that they will not let "Jalisco or their supporters in" and how they (CDA) have been operating in the capital of Potocina for a long time and intend to "fight with all those who are against us."  The banner was signed by the cartel's commander, Alfredo Aleman.

The Gulf Cartel is is one of the oldest organized crime groups in Mexico and has been responsible for many of the kidnappings in all of Mexico. However, the cartel has been dealing with a series of internal territorial wars, which have divided the criminal organization into rival factions. These battles have damaged the financial resources of the cells of the cartel, along with the economic losses caused by the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The loss of those revenues has led the Reynosa faction of the Gulf Cartel to engage in robberies, while it appears that the Matamoros faction is more focused on extortion and kidnapping for ransom.

On the morning of 24 July 2020, Ramiro Salazar Rodríguez was driving to his construction business. At the intersection of Calle 3 and Boulevar Cavazos Lerma, an armed group of men intercepted Rodirguez and took him away at gunpoint. Since then, the relatives have seen no trace of the him and while Tamaulipas government officials have not publicly disclosed any information about the case, it has been confirmed that federal and state authorities are working to locate Rodriguez.

The latest details of the case reveal that those close to Salazar Rodríguez received a call from the kidnappers demanding $2.5 million USD for the ransom. While the kidnappers have not been identified, the border town of Matamoros is the birthplace of the Gulf Cartel who controls most of the crime in the region, including trafficking in persons, drug smuggling , money laundering, kidnapping and extortion.

Statement/Claim

In the early hours of Monday the 20th of July we attacked the headquarters of the Construction Consortium Ferrocarril Central with stones, Molotovs and protest flyers.

The CCFC is the group responsible for the construction of the train for the company UPM. In Uruguay they want to install one of the largest cellulose plants in the world, to carry it out the Finnish company UPM needs the construction of a railway infrastructure to connect directly with the bridge that the company will also install in the capital of Montevideo for the entry and exit of their goods.

Both projects are currently under construction. What happened on the morning of the 20th is a warning that we will not remain passive in the face of the devastation of the land and the misery that the state and the capital want to condemn us to.

The struggle is for life…and now.

Statement/Claim

Cops are murderers. We burned their cars. You can too.

We used three incendiary devices: square plastic bottles filled about 3/4 of the way with a mixture of gasoline and motor oil. We used super glue to attach two individually packaged fire cubes (which you can find in camping, hardware, and grocery stores) to the side of each bottle.

At each car, we placed a bottle on its side (cubes facing up), pushed it under the tire of the car, and lit the cube.

We chose devices that would fully ignite about one minute after we placed them under the cars. We wanted to increase our chances of getting away and decrease the chances that the devices would be extinguished preemptively.

For a world without the police and the white supremacist order they defend. Solidarity with Black insurgents and everyone else who fights back.

In January 2020, the US government criminally charged a Virginia man, John William Kirby Kelley for helping to organize dozens of "swatting" attacks and bomb threats made against a variety of targets in the United States and Canada. The man allegedly belonged to the group that coordinated via IRC and Tor hidden services to target prominent gamers, journalists, and government officials. The group's online chats were often racist, with comments suggesting antipathy toward Jews and black people. In one case, the group made a fake bomb threat to the Alfred Street Baptist Church, a predominantly African American church in Alexandria, Virginia.

According to the FBI, Kelley helped maintain the group's infrastructure and conducted research for the group, identifying possible targets and suggesting that others make calls. Kelley was identified by authorities after he called in a bomb threat to his own school. He also conspired with John Cameron Denton, a former leader of the Atomwaffen Division in Texas, who was arrested in February 2020 and plead guilty on 14 July 2020.

Former Old Dominion University Student Pleads Guilty to Swatting Conspiracy

A Vienna man pleaded guilty today to charges related to his role in a conspiracy that conducted multiple swatting events targeting journalists, a Virginia university, a historic Virginia church, and a former cabinet official.

According to court documents, John William Kirby Kelley, 19, conspired with John Cameron Denton, a former leader of the Atomwaffen Division in Texas, and others to conduct “swatting” calls. Swatting is a harassment tactic that involves deceiving dispatchers into believing that a person or persons are in imminent danger of death or bodily harm and causing the dispatchers to send police and emergency services to an unwitting third party’s address.

Kelley managed the online chatroom where conspirators chose targets and orchestrated the swatting calls. Many of the conspirators held white supremacist views and targeted individuals because they were motivated by racial animus. Kelley communicated with these white supremacists and used racial epithets. 

Kelley is a former student at Old Dominion University. In early November 2018, he asked conspirators to swat Old Dominion University, which conspirators did ultimately swat on Nov. 29 and Dec. 4, 2018. In response to the bomb threat on Nov. 29, 2018, university officials issued a shelter in place order and law enforcement were forced to search and clear every building on campus. 

During the course of the conspiracy, members placed at least 134 swatting calls to jurisdictions across the country. In addition to the swatting calls against Old Dominion University, conspirators conducted two additional swatting calls in the Eastern District of Virginia, including a call to a former Cabinet official living in Northern Virginia in January 2019 and the Alfred Street Baptist Church in November 2018.

Kelley pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States, interstate threats to injure.  He faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison when sentenced on November 24. Actual sentences for federal crimes are typically less than the maximum penalties. A federal district court judge will determine any sentence after taking into account the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

G. Zachary Terwilliger, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, and James A. Dawson, Special Agent in Charge, Criminal Division, FBI Washington Field Office, made the announcement after Senior U.S. District Judge Liam O'Grady accepted the plea. Assistant U.S. Attorney Carina A. Cuellar is prosecuting the case.

Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said two improvised explosive devices have been disposed of outside the Minska metro station in Ukraine's capital. "Bomb-disposal experts have just disposed of the two improvised explosive devices at the Minskiy market. At about 12:00 Kyiv time, an anonymous caller contacted the police 102 hotline and said two kiosks on wheels at 26 Obolonsky Avenue had been mined. The law enforcers and bomb-disposal experts deployed to verify the report and found hazardous objects. (...) The explosives planted between a car and the retail kiosks were neutralized," Klitschko said.

Kyiv PD has confirmed the report on the bomb disposal effort. The shrapnel has been sent for forensic examination. Law enforcers are working on the scene, also checking the surrounding area.

In early July 2020, La Familia Michoacana (LFM) allegedly ambushed officers and a day later, hung several signs on overpasses specifically threatening the staff of the Attorney General of Justice of the State of Mexico (FGJEM), stating that the "War has begun!" The messages were signed by La Familia Michoacana, who according to the authorities maintain a presence in the south of the state and in the Toluca Valley.

Among cartels, there had been a long-standing code of honor, in which drug traffickers avoided harming minors or women, or relatives of those who were involved in crimes or the authorities that persecuted them. But apparently that is an honor code that has been  left behind.

On 12 July 2020, members of the La Familia Michoacana (LFM) executed a member from the office of the Attorney General of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) along with their two minor children, in a wooded area of ​​the town of Yebucivi, in the municipality of Almoloya de Juárez in the State of Mexico. Another case was that of Juan Francisco Herrera Ortiz alias "El Brujo" (the sorcerer), 34, who was an operator of the Sinaloa Cartel. A group of hitmen killed him along with his 29-year-old wife Nayel and one of their daughters, while two other little ones were wounded.

Crumstown Highway is approximately a 10-mile stretch that runs from South Bend to North Liberty, Indiana.

Ku Klux Klan members littered yards along a St. Joseph County road with recruitment materials, and a man living there says he's not happy about it.

All the bags had several papers and were thrown in people's yards down Crumstown Highway, including an application to join the organization.

The man we spoke to says that there's too much hate in the world right now and that organizations like this are just pushing us further apart.

"This is 2020 man, we're way past people being racist,” said Kevin Bargielski.

His neighbor was upset because he thought someone launched trash out of their car and into his yard. That's when Bargielski noticed it was Ku Klux Klan propaganda from the Church of the National Knights in New Carlisle.

One of the pages reads in part, "I believe in the segregation of races and I have never engaged in an inter-racial relationship."

The pamphlets and application contain anti-semitic and racist language. Bargielski says he doesn't agree with it.

"Nobody else needs to see it, and I got older people that might get scared or something so I went down the road and started picking them all up."

Bargielski and his girlfriend went down the street picking up the propaganda.

We found 4 more after we spoke with him.

Bargielski says there's so much hate already in the world and what this organization stands for is not necessary right now.

"We've got enough [hate]. Everybody's fighting now. instead of bringing us together and doing something positive, it's just another thing to put fuel on the fire."

He says he's sure some people might be tired of hearing about the Black Lives Matter movement right now, but doesn't think it's fair for a historically-racist group to be taking advantage of it. especially in his neighborhood.

"Pushing us apart, everything,” Bargielski said. “And certain organizations are taking advantage of it. And that's what they're doing. I mean, it's their right to do what they do but like I said, we don't want this stuff out here."

We reached out to the KKK chapter associated with these documents and have not heard back.

On the night of July 15th we went to the Leipzig-Plagwitz district to express our opposition to the city of the rich and its repression.

So we set an excavator on fire. This was being used to upgrade the so-called millennium field. One of the last open spaces in the district, which is used in a self-organized way. A place where the neighbourhood meets, makes campfires illegally, builds creative skateboard ramps, makes loud music or just enjoys the free view into the sky.

We know that once the redevelopment has been completed, this wasteland will be another place for the new yuppies who have moved in. We, the dirty punks, the alternative hippies, the naive free spirits, the left-wing chaotic ones will no longer be able to find a place, because otherwise there would be no need for construction. We are for a rebellious neighborhood, organized from below.

With all means against the further upgrading of our neighborhoods!
