Fear and despair. This social feeling prevails in the days of dystopia. The state administrators in the face of the depths of the global capitalist crisis, after militarily controlling the crowds and putting them in quarantine, infuse them with a continuous terrorism, repression and restriction of acquired freedoms and salaries. Beyond the hunger and misery that pervade, the desperate remain marginalized, like immigrant communities, while the privileged strengthen their privileges, like the N.D. government’s mobsters. and security forces.
On July 16, at 3:20 pm, we carried out an arson attack on V. Sofias Street at the National Bank in the center of Maroussi. As a result, the ATM was completely destroyed and extensive damage was done to the facade, with smoke and flames reaching the inside of the building. The choice of the target was not accidental. The National Bank has participance in auctions with a recent example of an eviction of an old lady at Petralona neighborhood. We see the role of banks in the auctions as a continuation of the attack and uprooting by the state in cooperation with the bosses to the undervalued people.
The city is constantly being rebuilt in terms of marginal displacement surgical architecture. They want a sterile commercial condition where some are left over because they are ruining the party of gentrification. At the same time, natural and public spaces are privatized with “fast track” and mafia tactics and ways (see Filopappou hill) and others are getting destroyed by windtourbines. The news that cops have been burned in the recent marches of the center gave us an infinite smile. We insist that their toy in the streets must be defeated and this requires the dedication of those who still intend to stand on their feet. We do not like the terror, the defeatist chatter and the poor organization on the street in front of the uniformed soldiers. We have to experience the street outside the limits of the Social Media spectacle and take care of our militancy in real terms. At the same time, we consider that any marches that have a funeral sterile character in the center, throw down the forces and the psychology.
In closing, we consider the death of Vassilis Mangos a state assassination. Against an extreme outburst of violence from MAT, DELTA this time. we are not convinced by any medical narrative of any medical examiner. Reading the fact as a constant violence with psychological extension is our political position. To take revenge.
P.S.: We believe that along with the street presence, the interventions and the dynamic marches, the night actions are a very flexible field to sow panic in the state.
