The FAI claims to fight for impoverished communities, who are negatively affected by unfair foreign trade deals and exploited in the labour market to the benefit of the rich, whereby these communities could gain freedom and where the "individual can decide their own fate without having to be governed by anyone". To achieve this objective the FAI is of the opinion that the current state and economic structures must be destroyed.
