In the month of March 2014 Ajnad Misr claimed credit for three different bombings: 4 March 2014: claimed credit for a bombing in Cairo near the Refugee Commission offices; 11 March 2014: claimed credit for a home-made bomb explosion in front of the Israeli embassy in Cairo. According to security sources the explosion targeted a police car parked nearby, and not the embassy; 29 March 2014: bombing of the security offices of the Youth Centre in Nasr. The bomb exploded before the arrival of security personnel

Yesterday (April 3, 2014) claimed credit for two explosions at the Cairo University that killed two people including a police brigadier-general. Ajnad Misr issued a statement saying that it was targeting senior security officers guilty of mass killing.
