ISIS insists on being responsible for the downing of the Russian plane in Egypt. The Russian-operated Airbus A321M crashed on 1 November 2015 shortly after taking off from the Red Sea resort of Sharm al-Sheikh on its way to St Petersburg, killing all 224 people on board.
