2 hours into the siege ,three out of four gunmen are still at large within the hotel, which is partly on fire. Afghan Special forces are still clearing the hotel, and have rescued some, but not all guests. No official casualty count has been offered, but the number could be quite high; one eyewitness puts the number at 15 dead.
