On the morning of 06 August 2018  a joint FADM / PRM Taskforce supported by an Air Force helicopter launched an operation in the area of Pundanhar in the Palma District. This offensive came on the back of actionable intelligence obtain through interrogation of captured militants and corroborated by independent sources.
