This is the second attack on a church in a short space of time:

28 April 2019: Dablo, where between 20 and 30 attackers reportedly managed to trap some of the people inside then set fire to the church; 

12 May 2019: Silgadji, also in northern Burkina Faso when gunmen on motorbikes killed a pastor and several worshippers.
