On 14 April through 15 April 2016, there was renewed fighting between elements of the Taliban in Takhar and Kunduz provinces, Afghanistan. Friday, 15 April, hundreds of Taliban fighters have launched an offensive to take back the city of Kunduz in Kunduz province.
