Abdullah Azzam Brigades (AAB)

The Abdallah Azzam Brigades was formed as an offshoot of al Qaeda for the purpose of hitting targets in the Levant and throughout the Middle East. AAB is responsible for numerous indiscriminate rocket attacks on Israeli civilians, which were launched from within Lebanon by the Ziyad al-Jarrah Battalions of the Abdallah Azzam Brigades. AAB releases propaganda on a routine basis. Over the past three years, the group has advocated for the overthrow of the Saudi government and called for an uprising in Lebanon, as well as voiced support for Syrian protesters.VideoVideo: 2012 Speech by Emir of Abdullah Azzam - "Message to Lebanon's Shi'ah" Click here for an English Translation of this speech
